Artists
DJ Anna Neum, Toulouse
Anna has been immersed in music since childhood, with a journey that spans from classical piano to rock bands. Her love for tango music began in 1998, but it took over a decade before she stepped onto the dance floor herself.
Today, Anna embraces both the golden traditional era and the innovative spirit of neotango music. She dreams of a world where these musical expressions coexist in perfect harmony.
By turning every tune she plays into a unique piece of art, you can expect Anna to guide you on a journey through time and across a wide spectrum of feelings on the dancefloor.
DJ Eze, Amsterdam / Buenos Aires
Born in Buenos Aires, Ezequiel Sanucci is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer with over 40 years of experience. As one of the pioneers of the Neotango and Contact Tango movement, he has been shaping the evolution of modern tango for almost two decades.
Since 2013 he has been DJing at international neotango festivals, marathons and events across Europe and Argentina. His signature style is a continuous musical journey, seamlessly blending modern tango and alternative tracks into one flowing experience. Rather than playing separate songs, he creates smooth transitions that build atmosphere, emotion and energy, allowing dancers to immerse themselves in an evolving flow throughout the night. Constantly reading the dance floor, he shapes the energy of the evening in real time, creating moments of intensity, playfulness, intimacy and joy.
DJ Sarah, Ulm
DJ Juliana, Berlin
Juliana from Berlin is the director of the cultural venue Haus der Sinne Berlin, home to Berlin’s oldest Neo-Milonga and the city’s only milonga with two dance floors (Neo & Traditional). She also organizes the weekly Milonga Pista Doble at Haus der Sinne, featuring numerous national and international DJs and tango musicians.
As a Tango DJ, her musical influences are diverse, taking listeners on journeys through Neo Tango, Non-Tango, Fusion, and electronic soundscapes. With a keen sense of dynamics and atmosphere, she creates musical spaces where connection, inspiration, and movement come together naturally.
Beschreibung
DJ El Librillo, Darmstadt
El Librillo loves – as a dancer as well as a TJ – the integrative and innovative potential of Tango. He transports it to his audicence by catching them with well known music and moving them carefully to less well known material to expand the limits of hearing, dancing, feeling and connection.
His programms reflect the variety of Tango and music you can dance Tango to. But they are also conceptional units that makes dancers transparent what music to expect and prevent an (always tempting) arbitrariness. If he announces „traditional“, he plays only traditional.
Programs are never meant in a sense that theses are fixed playlists, but as ideas with a wide pool of eligible songs that are always played based on the occasion, the room, the audience, the space on the dance floor and the the mood of dancers.
